The 2007/08 school year is officially under way. Today was a great start with students involved and participating.
We began language arts thinking about the theme from High School Musical. As part of our reading class we are singing "We're All in This Together." The lyrics have a great message talking about how working together makes it best for everyone.
Trevor G. and Luke O. earned a special treat for their participation in class today.
Students received Reading Logs. The first one is due on Friday, 9/7/2007.
Student information applications are due tomorrow.
I'm glad that we started the year with a High School Musical theme. I just LOVE High School Musical.
ReplyDeleteI love the song that started the year. "We're all in this together" was a great song to start the year.And at the end of the year I can't wait to see you TRY to fit through the fat man squeeze. Hey we are one day closer to sixth grade camp.

ReplyDeleteI have already been through Fat Man's Squeeze at camp, and survived, although a little stinkier :). You know if I can fit, you guys should slide through like going down a water slide.
