Snow and More Snow

Well, we are out of here at 1:15 today (Friday). Once again, Ohio's weather has attacked us. At least we got in enough time to count for a school day. Laurelville students (and staff :) ) are moaning about the make-up days already. The state allows 5 calamity days, but we have used 9. Three days will be added to the end of the year, and one day will be made up on Saturday, March 29. I think it will be interesting to see our attendance when everyone has Saturday school.

This is the view looking out of our classroom at 12:00.

I think that it is crazy that we are getting this much snow. My dad had to park at a church and walk all the way home it took him about 2 hours to get home. When i got on my bus to go home we could not make it up this big hill we had to back up and try to make it back up but we still could not make it. Our bus driver pulled into somebody's driveway but then she got stuck again finally we got out.

I liked the snow days until we used up all of our calamity days and have to make up some of the days that we missed on Saturdays. I really hope that we don't have any more snow days from now through the end of the school year.

I think that snow days is really cool but not when we make up days. I would go home early then make up days from snow days. Mr. McGuire Saturday my dad got stuck right in the middle of a drive may. He has not got stuck in his life. 10 minutes later after we got stuck we got free early that day my dad tracker but we got it out.

I'm glad that we have been having snow days. Because Mrs.Riddle should cancel school for the rest of the year. Go snow days.

I don't like snow days because you can go places but you have to drive slow.

I was at Shayna's house when we were on a level three snow emergency. The snow drifts were three feet deep! I hope we don't get any more snow days because i don't want to go to school on Saturday. When we left Shayna's house there was still a level three snow emergency and it was a good thing Matt had four wheel drive or else we never would have made it home.

~ I used to like snow days, But when i found out about Saturday school i was so mad because that just ruin's my plans for Friday night. You see every Friday i ether go skating or to the movies. And if i go skating witch i normally do then that would not work out cause skating ends at 11:00 and i get home at 12:00. It wont work. That is not fair i would rather have school in the summer then Saturday. I going to go on strike in till i win for no school on Saturday ~

I think that all the snow days should be made up on all the holiday breaks like thanksgiving I mean all it is a day it's not the end of the world if we have school the day before the holiday but I mean come on having school on Saturday thats not right to have school at my old school we would have a shorter summer break. It's not right

I honestly don't like winter at ALL. Summer is my absolutely favorite season, and there should be more of summer. The only thing you can do in the winter is go sled riding or tubing, and sometimes there's either too much snow to where you can't, or there's not enough snow.

I can't wait until summer is here!
