What Mountains Have You Climbed?

What challenges have you overcome? What challenges have you faced? As you look back on this school year, 170 days full of goods and bads, what went well? Where did you succeed?

Or, as sung by Miley Cyrus

The struggles I’m facing,
The chances I’m taking
Sometimes they might knock me down but
No I’m not breaking

And as you look ahead, what challenges still have to be faced?

There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,

And how will you handle those challenges?

Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I'm going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb

I've made a lot of friends at Laurelville Elementary and at my old school all of them were preppy and I really wasn't so I had to play with the boys. I really fit in with the boys. My whole family calls me a tomboy.

Mr. McGuire I have succeeded in achieving my goal in getting good grades. In science I have a B. In your class I have two Cs. In social studies I have an A. I need to work harder on my mathematics grade because I have a F. But I will try to get it up. I've climbed the mountain to education. And weirdness.

This year I have over come a lot of things like geting a little better at spelling. When I came to 6th grade I did not know how to spell. Also I have made lots of new friends.
I also faced a lot challenges like the Saxon test. We did not get to use a calculator. It was not hard but it was not easy. Also you had to show all of your work. The end was the hardest.
The challenges I think that I will face next year is not knowing people from other schools. Then I will probably get lost on the fist day at the Middle School because it is so big.

I think that I have over come a lot of challenges. One of those challenges is my attitude last year my behaviour was not so well. Another challenge I faced is not giving up if I don't get it the first time. I have also started being nicer to other people and by doing that I have made more friends. I can't wait till next year so I can meet new friends and all my new teachers.

I have climbed and climbed. It gets hard but I keep going just like in the song. I have been trying really hard to be nice to everyone and so far I have made but I will be climbing that mountain for ever. I have made it to the top of one mountain and it was keeping a good attitude all year. I am very happy with that one.

I think that I will have to face a lot of mountains and I might not make it to the top on the first try. If you know me I will not give up. I try to keep my grades up right now I do not now them all. All that I can say is that I try my best at every thing. Well like everyone else it might not seem like it but I do want to give up some times but I will not. I know that no matter what happens I will not give up no matter how high the mountain I don't care I will try my 100% to make it. I know that is high up there but I have my hole life a head of me to make it there.

What I have accomplished this year is to not get in trouble as much. I did not get picked on and I made a lot more friends than last year. I have had a time this year than last year because we go to camp and bole and also go to 7 and 8 grade building.

I had to face some challenges I don't like. But I don;t want to have to deal with regrets all my life. Most of the challenges that I had to face, I kept my head up and did not give up. Some of the challenges that I had to face are geting good grades, not geting into fights, being able to reading good for the 6th grades, and not geting into trouble as mush as I did last year. The challenges that I still have to face is going into McDowell but I am looking froward to meet new people and get some new friends.
