I am really nervous for the test's next week. I am afraid I might bring down my L.A and Math grade. I hope I do good. I have been getting good grades all year so I can get a cell phone this summer, and because I want to be smart! =D

Molly,

There is no need for you to be nervous. You will do great!

Also, the Achievement Test score will not count towards your grade. The only way it will affect you is any student that works over 2 hours might be in line for some extra credit.

I'm not scared of the test. It going to be hard to work or look back in the selection. I'm not even sure I am going to pass the reading test but I do know that I will pass the math test because am good at it. I'm know I would not get all of the answers right but I know I will pass the math test.

Wow, that isn't a very good situation. Although, I feel very confident about the achievement test. I feel that Mr. McGuire has prepared me well and I will use what he has taught me to pass. So I am relaxed and ready for the test. Good job Mr. McGuire, I have learned a lot.

Oh Fido isn't HALF as mean, hyper, and playful as or little chug (chihuahua mix w/ pug) Snickers. If you run away from her she'll run after you and bite you in the butt(OUCH)! Although she is pretty hyper, and well a little bit mean she cuddles up with you and sleeps with you at night!!=D

And I will still do 500% on the test. I wish I would have done better on the last proficiency test we had last because I've always wanted to be in discovery! Last year I came so close I had a 93% and you need at least a 95% to get in discovery also if they had a science discovery I would have made it in that because I got a 97% on it!

I think that the Achievement tests are fun. I think this because it like a challenge for me. I try to do my best, take my time, and go over the test so I do my best that I possibly could have done. I like to see how much I've learned and see which subjects I do best in so I can improve.

Anyway isn't that why we go to school? To learn and pass the big tests so we don't get held back. If the teachers didn't teach the students anything and just handed them the booklet the students would sort of be dumbstruck. They would not do anything and not know how to do what the test asks them to.

I think the OAT test will be easy for me. Well not to easy. The part I think will be the easiest is the math test.

I am really nervous on the math test because that picks what class you're in for math next year. I'm also afraid for the reading because I'm not that good.

I'm kinda nervous to take the achievement test. But this year I think that I will do a lot better than last year because I have great teachers that will help me a lot.

Dear Mr. McGuire,

I actually like to take tests. Especially the achievement and proficiency tests! I like taking tests because it's fun ( for me) and I get to see what I need help in and what I'm doing best in. I also like to see if I'm proficient, accelerated, or advanced. So far I am mainly getting advanced. I've only gotten one B before out of 5th and 6th grade. I think it was on my interim report in science. I got a B (92%) because of a project we did in science but I brought it up before report cards!

I am a little bit nervous about the big test but I am way more confident than I am nervous! I KNOW I will pass the reading test with at least a B. You have taught me so much. At the beginning of the year I was a little nervous about being in Mrs. Griffey's class because I didn't think I was going to be in your class. I really wanted to be in your class because I heard you were a great teacher and they were right! YOu are a great teacher!
